At GameUp Africa, we’ve trained thousands of aspiring game developers, and we’ve seen firsthand the power of mentorship and hands-on learning. We believe that early exposure to game design and development can ignite a lifelong passion, nurture creative thinking, and equip young minds with practical skills for the industry.

This July, Maliyo Games will be running the second edition of the Maliyo Games Junior Internship—a two-week immersive program designed to offer work experience to young game enthusiasts aged 10-14 in Lagos.

At the Maliyo Games Junior Internship, young game enthusiasts will not only learn how to make games but will also build on their problem-solving skills, creativity, teamwork, and critical thinking—all essential for game development and beyond.

Through this program, participants will:
